Leigh Brock Scott, 81, of the 200 block of Westonia Road, died Jan. 17, 1997.
Born in Smithfield, Va., he was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Scott was a supervisor toll collector for the State of Virginia retiring with 35 years service.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Culpepper Scott; a daughter, Marjorie A. Schneider and her husband, Ron, of Suffolk; a sister, Barbara Chapman of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Ralph Scott of Blackwood, N.J., Glenn Scott of Smithfield; two grandchildren, Angela H. Marley and her husband, Hugh, of Mission Viejo, Calif., Shelby N. Schneider of Suffolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Culpepper Family Cemetery, Old Mill Road, Deep Creek, by the Rev. Billy Lewis. Family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times will be at 6403 Old Westham Drive North, Suffolk.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International or Deep Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
