Joe C. Talbott, 75, died Jan. 18, 1997, in his residence.
Born in Mecklenburg County, Va., he was the widower of Audrey D. Talbott and a retired carpenter with 50 years service.
Survivors include his sisters, Mildred Guthrie of Alton, Va., Ruth Puryear of South Boston, Va., Ester Glasscock of Virgilina, Va.; two brothers, Edward Talbott of South Boston and W.C. Talbott of Wallace, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park by Mr. Everett Quesinberry. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
