Lance Gordon Kelly, 86, of Sentara Nursing Center died Jan. 17, 1997.
Born in Au Sable, Mich., he was a purchasing agent for Turner Brooks Inc., Detroit, Mich., and retired in 1970. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Mary May Kelly; daughter, Patricia Kelly Rapp, and son-in-law, Michael D. Rapp, of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Christopher K. Rapp, and his wife, Bessie, of Glen Allen, Va., Eric M. Rapp, and his wife, Susan, of Chesapeake, Timothy A. Rapp of Virginia Beach; and a niece, Eileen Pellerito of Canton, Mich.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. William Starkey. Entombment will follow the memorial service at the church columbarium. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church Building Fund, 5181 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
