WESLEY B. THOMPSON

Wesley B. Thompson, 84, died Jan. 19, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Thompson was born in Belleville, N.J., and had been a resident of Chatham, N.Y., for more than 50 years. He and his wife relocated to Virginia Beach in 1988. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and a former member of the Masons Columbia Lodge 198.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinett S. Thompson; a daughter, Toni N. Wood of Hampton; a son, Wesley B. Thompson of Sandy Hook, Conn.; a brother, Seth R. Thompson of Walton, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Bryan Cornoni of Pensacola, Fla., Sherri Elmore of Newport News, Lindsay Williams and Henry Williams III, both of Hampton; a great-granddaughter, Lauren Elmore of Newport News; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Manning Harrell. Burial will be in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
