Sarah T. Bunch, 88, of the 700 block of Beach View St., died Jan. 19, 1997.
Mrs. Bunch was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Carlton Bunch. She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and the Golden Friendship Club. She had retired as a secretary from Royster Guano Company.
Survivors include a daughter, Carlette Williams of Virginia Beach; a sister, Kathryn T. Wetherington of Norfolk; a brother, Joseph A. Thompson of Alhambra, Calif.; three grandchildren, Susan W. Whitesell, Tilford H. ``Sonny'' Williams Jr. and Thomas Kelly Williams; four great-grandchildren, Jena Williams, Jessica Williams, Todd Whitesell and Kevin Whitesell; and two stepgrandchildren, Wayne Scott and Ashley Scott. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward Watson Thompson and Sarah Watson Thompson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. David Clay. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today.
