EMMA CLAY

Emma Clay of Jamal Court died Jan. 17, 1997, in a local hospital.

A retired domestic worker, Ms. Clay was a native of Abbeville, Ga., and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Malola Dunson of Portsmouth and Catherine Lewis of McRay, Ga.; three brothers, Clifton Clay of Warner Robins, Ga., the Rev. Rayphield Clay of Portsmouth and Ananias Clay of McRay; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Kevin Clay. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
