Ann L. Barnes, 79, died Jan. 20, 1997, in her home.
A cashier for Be-Lo Foods, she was the widow of Charles Elton Barnes Sr. and was known to many as ``Grandma'' at the Fifth National Banque.
Survivors include daughter, Shirley B. Renegar of Norfolk; three sons, Charles E. Barnes Jr. of Virginia Beach, Donald E. Barnes and Daniel R. Barnes, both of Norfolk; brother, John R. Parlett Jr. of Norfolk; six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
