MARGARET M. MORAN

Margaret Manning ``Marge'' Moran, 84, of the 900 block of Virginia Ave. died Jan. 20, 1997, in Norfolk.

A retired homemaker, Mrs. Moran was a Sunbury, N.C., native and the widow of Preston W. Moran. She was a member of the Washington Golf and Country Club and the Suffolk Woman's Golf Association.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris M. Berdeen and Tom of Roanoke, Va., and Jean M. Gosnell and Jim Miller of Arlington, Va.; sister, Lucy Wells of Suffolk; brother, George Brooks Manning of Suffolk; three grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, John Colman, Clint M. Berdeen and Nancy, and Gary W. Berdeen; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth Costen Manning and Charles M. Manning; two brothers, Thomas Manning and Charles E. Manning; and sister, Rebecca Rountree.

A memorial service will be held later. Hill Funeral Home is in charge. Memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 855 W. Brambleton Ave., Norfolk, in lieu of flowers.
