NOW WE'RE IN THE LOOP

In the Jan. 14 paper, I noted the unveiling of a Hampton Roads Beltway sign. But why not remove more of the confusion and redesignate the eastern leg as 664? Then our loop will have a name and the number 664 around the entire beltway. This will bring us in line with the 495 beltway around Washington, the 295 beltway around Richmond-Petersburg, and the 285 beltway around Atlanta. Some of us in Suffolk are proud to be a part of greater Hampton Roads.
