Nathaniel DeBerry, of the 200 block of Stonewall St., died Jan. 19, 1997, in Richmond.
A native of Southampton County, he was the widower of Mrs. Ater L. DeBerry and was retired after 25 years with Union Camp Corp. He was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Franklin.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda D. Taylor of Richmond, Linda Epps of Columbia, Md.; a son, Langston DeBerry of Richmond; two sisters, Beatrice Lassiter of Richmond, Florence Boone of Chesapeake; a brother, David DeBerry of Aberdeen, Md.; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in New Mount Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. D.S. Adams. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin. Remains will be placed in the church for viewing at 11 a.m. Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
