CANCELED: A scheduling mix-up put the kabosh on this month's Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association extravaganza, originally scheduled for Jan. 25.
The Ruritan Hall, where local aficianados meet to hear the finest bluegrass picking and twanging in town, was over-booked, and the TBMA postponed their show until February.
Association secretary Mamie Best said the February show will be held as scheduled at the Hickory Ruritan Hall along Highway 168. The show will feature four local groups, and then a jam session.
The association hosts their bluegrass extravaganzas on the fourth Saturday of each month.
