Barbara Rowe Ellerton, 73, of the 4900 block of Bradpointe Lane, died Jan. 23, 1997, at her residence.
Mr. Ellerton was raised in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. She was a charter member of Calvin Presbyterian Church and the Little Creek Woman's Club. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a good friend.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ellerton; two daughters, Carol Gallagher of Virginia Beach and Nancy Ellerton of Norfolk; a son, Daniel Ellerton of Chesapeake; three sisters, Ruth Dean of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Lynn Chambers of Tucson, Ariz., Joan Keinz of Hartdale, N.Y.; and a brother, Donald Rowe of Buffalo, N.Y.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Calvin Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Bob Dewitt. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Deacons Fund at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2901 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, Va. 23518. Friends may join the family at the residence or the church. Cremation Society of Virginia, Tidewater Office, is handling arrangements.
