Michael Owen Pate, 46, of Central Virginia Training Center died Jan. 13, 1997.
He was the son of the late Owen and Cornelia Naomi Bryant Pate.
Survivors include three sisters, Pamela Robin Pate Adcock and husband, Monroe, of Edenton, N.C., Therresa Wiederhold and husband, Walt, of Avon Park, Fla., Nancy McCauley and husband, Mike, of California, Rick Johnson of Norfolk; a special niece, Jennifer Hofler of Sunbury, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of other family members.
Services will be conducted at noon Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Layman. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may take the form of donations to Central Virginia Training Center, Building 31, P.O. Box 1098, Lynchburg, Va. 24505. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
