Jean Helen Tomaszewski Cibor passed away Jan. 23, 1997.
Born in Poland Aug. 1, 1908, she came to the Detroit area as a child. Married in 1927, she managed her husband's bakeries, M.C. Bakery, New Polka Bakery and Marion's Pastry Shop. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed her last years at First Colonial Inn, Virginia Beach. She will be missed by those who loved her and remembered for her gentleness, smile and ability to bring out the best in people. Her tatted snowflakes, handkerchiefs and bookmarks were given to many. She was the widow of Marion Cibor.
Survivors include four daughters, Dolores Krolikowski of Clinton Township, Mich., Christine Galecki of Virginia Beach, Ginger McVean of Solon, Ohio, and Charlotte Schraufnagle of Phoenix; brother, Ted Tomaszewski of Detroit; 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be at Kaul Funeral Home, Roseville, Mich. The rosary will be said by the Daughters of Isabella on Sunday evening during the viewing. She will be buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit. A chapel service wil lhe held later at First Colonial Inn, Virginia Beach.
