Walter E. Stafford died Jan. 22, 1997.
He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Stafford; adored father of Linda Applebey, Nancy Sander and Jeanette Walker. He is also survived by his sister, Olive Austin; his brothers, Claude Enoch, Charles Stafford; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today in Everly Funeral Home, Fairfax. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Allergy and Asthma Network, 3554 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 200, Fairfax, Va. 22030 or the Masonic Home of Virginia, 4101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, Va. 23223.
