Clara J. Salinas, 64, of the 300 block of E. Lorengo Ave., died Jan. 22, 1997.
Born in Max Meadows, Va., she was a member of Gateway Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Norfolk Airport Limousine Service.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio Salinas of Norfolk; three daughters, Deborah McMillan and her husband, Michael of Fayetteville, N.C., Delores Ward and her husband, Ricky, of Fairhope, Ala., and Peggy Hackett and her husband, Jimmy, of Chesapeake; a son, Ronald Gant and his wife, Cindy, of Newport News; stepmother, Martha Jackson; three brothers, Bill Jackson and his wife, Lil, Jay Jackson, and Jimmy Heron and his wife, Betty; grandchildren, Eddie, Tiffany, Cody, Rachael, Lacy, Chas, Ricky Jr., Katelyn, Linsey, Alex, Stephanie and Candy.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Pastor Karl Sexton. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday to receive friends.
