Sandra Hayden Kahler of the 500 block of Mill Landing Road died Jan. 20, 1997, in her home.
Mrs. Kahler, a native of Portsmouth, was an internal auditor for the city of Chesapeake. She was a member of the Association of Government Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
She is survived by a son, Bruce M. Kahler of Orlando, Fla.; her mother, Helen Cichorz Hayden of Portsmouth; her father, John F. Hayden of Portsmouth; a brother, Vernon B. Hayden of Portsmouth; and a grandson.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth.
