Lawyers for the Pentagon and Justice Department are reviewing a federal judge's ruling that found unconstitutional a ban on the sales of such magazines as Playboy and Penthouse on military bases, a Pentagon spokesman said Thursday.
The spokesman, Kenneth Bacon, said no decision had been made on whether to appeal the judge's order.
The Military Honor and Decency Act of 1996 forbids selling or renting sexual material at bases.
