Della Eure Francis, 74, of the 500 block of N. King St. died Jan. 25, 1997, in Guardian Care Nursing Home, Ahoskie.

A homemaker, Mrs. Francis was a Gates County native and a member of Winton Baptist Church, Winton.

Survivors include her husband, Cleveland Madison Francis; two daughters, Thelma Francis Askew of Eure and Alice Francis Austin of Garner; two sons, Henry C. Francis of Sanford and Baylus M. ``Nick'' Francis of Cary; sister, Catherine Gardener of Winton; brother, Leroy Eure of Tunis; 10 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Winston Baptist Church by the Rev. Stephen A. Moore. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations may be made to Guardian Care Nursing Home Staff, 604 E. Stokes St., Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
