Constance Marie Rogers, 67, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997.
A native of Alberta, Canada, she was a former deputy clerk of the Circuit Court for the City of Hampton. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Rosary Group and the St. Anthony's Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Rogers.
Survivors include a daughter, Penny R. Carter of Chesapeake; two granddaughters, Emily Hayes of Virginia Beach, Melissa C. Solomon of Charlotte, N.C.; and a great-grandson, Cameron Hayes.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hampton, by the Rev. Donald Winter, C.S.S.R. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. A Rosary service will be held in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home at 7 p.m. today with a visitation afterward until 8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
