LEROY V. HEDGES

LeRoy V. Hedges, 84, of the 1000 block of Charity Drive, died Jan. 26, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Born in Knox City, Mo., he was the widower of Dorothy M. Hedges and was a Protestant. He retired from Taylor Instrument Co. and also from the U.S.D.A. He was a volunteer at Bayside Hospital since 1990. In recent years he had lived at Old Donations Apartments where he had made many close friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky K. Styles of Concord, Calif., Fran K. Dauth of Montclair, N.J., Judith Hedges Moore of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Amanda M. Taylor of Panama City, Fla., Scott V. Moore of Portland, Maine, Lucy M. Andrews of Lawrenceburg, Ind., David J. Styles of Concord; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Cass County, Mo. The body will be sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, to Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Mo., for service and burial. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
