The second in a series of workshops concerning the long-range-facilities needs of Dare County Schools will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island.
The Dare County Board of Education will continue its review of a consultant's cost analysis of a 25-page facilities plan. Boney Architects of Wilmington estimates that the recommendations included in the study would cost nearly $79 million. However, the board is expected to reduce the scope and cost of the recommendations.
The meeting is open to the pubic, but no public comment will be taken.
