Richard D. Chandler, 69, died Jan. 26, 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Bette Chandler; two sons, Richard D. Chandler Jr. and his wife, Cindy, and Jeffrey S. Chandler and his wife, Christine, all of Richmond; three stepchildren, Jacquelyn Camille of Richmond, Elizabeth Camille of Wilmington, N.C., and Albert Gayle of Richmond; and a brother, Webster M. Chandler; and four grandchildren.
His remains rest at Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, Richmond, where the family gathered Tuesday night. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Stratford Hills United Methodist Church with interment in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and Stratford Hills United Methodist Church.
