Saratoga Whittaker Brown of the 33400 block of Sandy Ridge Road died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, in Philadelphia.
She was a native of Hertford County, N.C., and a member of Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Franklin.
Survivors include her daughter, Esther Guyton of Willow Grove, Pa.; a son, Randolph Brown of Philadelphia; a sister, Cora Ramsey of Murfreesboro, N.C.; nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Diamond Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. E.W. Flynn. Burial will be in the Brown Family Cemetery, Franklin. William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge.
