Mary E. Miller, 68, died Jan. 27, 1997, in Portsmouth.
A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Odie Miller; four daughters, Wanda A. Carey of Maryland, Davida Miller of Norfolk, Augustine Moore of Chesapeake and Rose B. Jones of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Nicole Miller, Florence Carey, Tamika Carey, Jose Moore, Katherine Moore, Odie Miller and Craig D. Jones.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday in St. Matthew's Catholic Church by Fr. Timothy Drake. Burial will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Sharon Hill, Pa., at 11 a.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
