After a morning of gill netting for trout, Morris Price, above, of
Hatteras, straightens out equipment on the Country Time while a
chorus of pelicans gathers around the boat Monday. At right,
pelicans mass in a frenzy near the boat as fatback menhaden are
tossed over the side. ``It's our captive audience,'' says Price.
``We feed them all the time.''
