A. Wyville Bryant III, 56, of the 100 block of Pitchkettle Point Drive, died Jan. 27, 1997, in his home.
Retired as a procurement analyst for the Department of the Army after 29 years of service, Mr. Bryant was a Norfolk County native and a member of Union Baptist Church, Grand Bay, Ala. He was predeceased by his mother, Wilma Lenoir Wetherington Bryant.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Rawls Bryant; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle B. and James Woodworth of Chesapeake and Karen D. and Robert Evans of Suffolk; son and daughter-in-law, A. Wyville Bryant IV and Belinda Bryant of Suffolk; father and stepmother, Archie W. Bryant Jr. and Muriel Bryant of Chesapeake; sisters, Martha B. Parker, Margaret B. Boehm and Mary Beth B. Thompson, all of Chesapeake; brothers, Stephen L. Bryant of Virginia Beach and William B. Bryant of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Jessica Bryant, Jason Bryant, A. Wyville Bryant V, Robert Evans Jr. and Robert Williford.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. John Derring. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the residence.
