ELLA M. BRICKHOUSE

Ella Mae ``Little Sis'' Brickhouse, 70, of the 2800 block of Omar St., died Jan. 27, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

Born in Franklin, Va., she was a member of Gabriel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Longridge, Chesapeake, participating as a member of the senior choir, female usher board, Golden Age Club and the Layman Council.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence C. Brickhouse; two daughters, Elezinia (Susie) Griffin of Chesapeake, Gennice D. Fong of Capitol Heights, Md.; two sons, James M. Riddick of Bear, Del., Shelton Riddick of Chesapeake; a sister, Leathia Jones of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Jonathan Riddick of Bear, Cardell Patillo of Chesapeake; and many other surviving relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Gabriel Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Longridge, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Carey Johnson, pastor. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
