Baby girl Jazzmine Ty-Shay Yvette DeBerry, an infant, of the 1400 block of Mount Vernon Ave., died Jan. 26, 1997, in The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Norfolk. She was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include her mother, Tawanna Y. DeBerry of Portsmouth and father, Tavis Q. Brumfield of Virginia Beach; a sister, Delmar'e Brumfield of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Annitra Yvette DeBerry and Bobby DeBerry Sr., and Moran Billups III; and paternal grandparents, Starley Brumfield and Curtis Brumfield; maternal great-grandparents, Shirley W. Boone and the Rev. Leon J. Boone; and a host of aunts; great aunt, Shelby M. Boone; uncles, including Bobby DeBerry Jr.; cousins, including two first cousins, Ronald Leon Boone III and Leon Jackson Boone IV; and in-laws.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at noon today. The family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Friday for the funeral service.
