Ossie R. Woodhouse, of the 400 block of N. Oceana Blvd., died Jan. 26, 1997.
Born in Princess Anne County, he was a member of Saint Mark A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara B. Woodhouse, Beverly A. Woodhouse, Brenda Woodhouse-Uzzle; two sons, Robert B. Woodhouse of Virginia Beach, Oscar R. Woodhouse of Woodbridge, Va.; two sisters, Hazel M. Wright of Virginia Beach, Mary F. Thomas of Compton, Calif.; a brother, Ernest A. Woodhouse of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; aunts, Ida Curtis, Hazel Parker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Saint Mark A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Henry Jefferson and the Rev. Wallace Drake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 473 Lineberry Road, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
