Robert Marion Hawkins, 80, died Jan. 30, 1997, in his residence.
Mr. Hawkins retired from the U.S. Navy Dec. 10, 1964, after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Colonial Heights Church of Christ.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his wife, Lenora; three sons, Darrel Hawkins, William O. Bateman and Warren Bateman; three daughters, Ann Gregor, June Clark and Lois Penner; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 1997, in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
