Zenia M. Brown of the 800 block of Bagnal Road died Jan. 26, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A Portsmouth native, she is survived by her daughter, Sasha Brown of Norfolk; three sons, Sean Brown, Tikeyan Brown and Keyonee Brown, all of Norfolk; parents, Lillian Brown of Norfolk and Arthur Brown Jr. of Portsmouth; sister, Shawn Brown of Norfolk; brother, Clifton Brown of Norfolk; two stepbrothers, Connell Byrd and Donnell Byrd of Portsmouth; stepmother, Louise Brown of Portsmouth; devoted friend, Loyd Parker; four special friends, Yvette Griffin-Lamb, Celestine Best, Diana Harvey-Wilson and Shannon Harris; a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Gilead Pentecostal Holiness Church by Bishop N. Jenkins. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. The family will assemble at 304 W. 35th St. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
