I, too, agree with the Jan. 8 and 22 letters to the editor regarding the non-use of the HOV lanes, and am very much in favor of the ``powers that be'' in the highway authority taking a new, hard look at the current use of the HOV lanes. I travel 64 and 44 every day between Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, and every day I see the ridiculous situation of three congested lanes, and one empty lane, of traffic.
The time has come to allow ``all'' highway taxpayers the use of ``all'' of our roads.
