EDWARD L. WHITE

Edward Lawrence White, of the 300 block of W. 29th St., died Jan. 28, 1997, in DePaul Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was retired from Airplane Corp. and was a former member of Garden of Prayer.

Survivors include his wife, Roxie White; a son, Lawrence White of Newport News; a grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in the chapel of Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Sunday. The family will assemble at the residence, 321 W. 29th St., at 11 a.m. for the procession.
