Mary Elizabeth Woodhouse, of the 1600 block of Cypress Ave., died Jan. 30, 1997.
Born in Princess Anne County, Va., she was a member of First Baptist Church Lynnhaven, Virginia Beach, and was a member of United Order of Tents, Siloam (NU)106. She was predeceased by her husband, George Woodhouse Sr., and daughter, Barbara Woodhouse.
Survivors include two sons, George Woodhouse Jr. of Virginia Beach, Collis E. Woodhouse of Norfolk; three sisters, Bertha Thompson, Earline R. Moseley and Lucille M. Maddox of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at noon Monday in First Baptist Church Lynnhaven by the Rev. Edgar Williams Jr. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will assemble at the residence the day of the service. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
