MARGUERITE T. BAIN

Marguerite Tucker Bain, 89, of the Churchland section, died Jan. 31, 1997, in a local nursing home.

The widow of Kenneth A. Bain and a Baptist, she was a retired bookkeeper for the Norfolk Navy Yard Co-Op. Mrs. Bain was a native of Seaboard, N.C.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Bain Veltri and husband, Dominick Veltri of Portsmouth; a son, Kenneth A. Bain and wife, Margaret A. Bain of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Joseph Alan Lindauer and wife, Tammy Eskey Lindauer of Virginia Beach, Kenneth Robert Lindauer of Virginia Beach, Carol Ann Winkler of Detroit, Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea Taylor Lindauer, Alana Tess Lindauer and Joseph Alan Lindauer, all of Virginia Beach, and Michelle Ann Winkler of Tucson, Ariz.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland, by the Rev. Scott Rimer. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
