VIOLA R. HARRIS

Viola R. Harris of the 1300 block of Goff St. died peacefully Jan. 29, 1997 at home.

A native of Perquimans County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William and Margrette Harrell and the widow of Joseph C. Harris.

Survivors include two sons, William J. Harrell of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Charles Harris of Norfolk; a sister, Laura H. Day of Brooklyn; two brothers, Thomas Harrell of Mount Vernon, N.Y., and Joseph Harrell of Brooklyn; a grandchild, Lance W. Harrell of Brooklyn; a nephew, Frank Harris Jr. of Chesapeake; a loving daughter-in-law, Carolyn Harrell; and a host of devoted friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 1306 Goff St., Norfolk.
