Mrs. Pauline Miller Coats, 91, died Friday afternoon Jan. 31, 1997, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Prentiss Coats of the home; two sons, Donald Coats of Lillington, Douglas Coats of Chesapeake; two sisters, Sallie Tripp of Dunn, Beatrice Dean of Erwin; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home Chapel, Lillington, by the Rev. David Luethy. Burial will be in Pleasant Union Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Union Christian Church, Route 1, Box 166-A, Lillington, N.C. 27546.
