Ken Bolden portrayed Bob Cratchit in ``A Christmas Carol'' for Virginia Stage in December, is performing in ``Terra Nova'' and will be seen in ``Twelfth Night.'' He has performed Off-Off Broadway, in Britain and at several Pittsburgh theaters.
Kaleo Griffith will have roles in all three company shows this season. In ``Terra Nova,'' he portrays the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen. His Off-Broadway and regional theater credits include performances at Arkansas Repertory Theater in Little Rock and at Bristol (Pa.) Riverside Theatre.
Andrew Heffernan, the youngest company member, makes his Virginia Stage debut with ``Terra Nova'' as a British explorer. He was a guest artist last fall with the Norfolk-based Governor's School for the Arts. His regional credits include performances at the Berkshire Theater Festival in Stockbridge, Mass.
Corinna May played the second wife in last season's ``Blithe Spirit'' and returns for major roles in ``Terra Nova'' and ``Twelfth Night.'' She's a senior company member with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Mass., and has acted for top companies in Boston, Philadelphia and New York.
``Terra Nova'' is David McCann's seventh show at Virginia Stage since his local debut in ``Sleuth'' in October 1993. Among his roles here: Hamlet, an Irish poet in ``Sea Marks'' and an Indian god in ``A Perfect Ganesh.'' He wrote the VSC's recent adaptation of ``A Christmas Carol'' and will be in all three company shows this season. He has acted at major regional theaters.
Suzanne O'Donnell played Christmas Past in ``Christmas Carol'' and will return as Viola in ``Twelfth Night.'' She has performed at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and the Orlando (Fla.) Shakespeare Festival, and she runs the Florida company's education program.
Scott Rollins, the only local actor in the company, debuted with Virginia Stage as Marcellus in last season's ``Hamlet.'' He has performed in theaters throughout the Southeast and will be seen next in ``Twelfth Night.''
Kevin Waldron, who has roles in all three company shows, has performed with several significant theaters, including American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass., and South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, Calif. ILLUSTRATION: Photos
