MARY T. LEE

Mary T. ``Mae'' Lee, 86, of the 2500 block of Salem Road, died Feb. 2, 1997, in Bayside Health Care Center.

Mrs. Lee was born in Bath, N.C., and was the widow of Milton A. Lee. She was a homemaker and member of Salem United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Esther L. Etheridge and Mary Anne Murphy and husband, Winfred L., all of Virginia Beach; a son, Nelson T. Lee and wife, April, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Martilea O'Neal of Bath; two brothers, Norfleet Tyer of Florida and James E. Tyer of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie T. Lee and Thaddeus N. Lee.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of Esther Etheridge, and request that memorial donations be made to Salem United Methodist Church Mortgage Fund, 2057 Salem Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
