INSPIRING STORIES

I would like to thank The Virginian-Pilot for putting such an inspiring article on the Jan. 24 front page. The story about the benefactor who gave away $4 billion over a 15-year period gives me renewed hope about our sense of direction as a people.

As a grandmother of four, I hope we can continue to give public attention to the good things that people do.
