Irene M. Pipkin, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 1997.
She was the wife of the late Lester C. Pipkin, who died in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Vasko of Chesapeake; her son, Donald R. Pipkin of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Pipkin of Virginia Beach and Dustin and Nicole Vasko of Chesapeake; three brothers, James Messick, Glen Messick and Sam Messick, all of Tennessee; and a sister, Odell Mankin of Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Chuck Harrell and James Reese at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
