DANA K. ROBERTSON

Dana Kent Robertson, 33, of the 1100 block of Birdneck Lake Drive, a former social worker with the YMCA in Virginia Beach, died Feb. 3, 1997, in a local hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Robertson was a native of Martinsville, Va., and a resident of Tidewater for 14 years.

Mr. Robertson was a graduate of Old Dominion University and the Art Institute of America, Fort Lauderdale, Florida School. He served aboard a Missionary Ship, aiding the lives of impoverished people in other countries. He was an active volunteer with the Food Bank. He was formerly employed as an inpatient mental therapist primarily at the Genesis program in the Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center.

Survivors include his beloved mother and father, Elsie Marie Nance Robertson and Dan Stafford Robertson, both of Axton, Va.; a sister, Donna R. Wilson and her husband, Bill, and their children, Kristin and Dan of Newport News; a brother, Danny K. Robertson of Axton, Virginia; and many loving friends.

A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road, by a friend at the Virginia Beach Vineyard, Joel Ladd. Burial will be in the family plot at Roselawn Cemetery, Martinsville, Va.
