LOUIS JONES JR.

Louis ``Peter'' Jones Jr. of the 200 block of W. 30th St. died Jan. 30, 1997, in a local hospital.

A retired painter for Dole Painting and Wallpaper Co., he was a Norfolk native and a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Louis Jones Sr.; five sisters; six brothers; a faithful companion, Mr. Willie Brown; also extended family members. He was predeceased by his mother.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
