Homer William Sauer, 66, a machinist for Air-A-Plane Corp., died Feb. 1, 1997, in Sentara Oak Grove Nursing Center.
He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and was a member of East Main Presbyterian in Grove City, Pa. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Sauer; one daughter, Darla J. Sauer of Portsmouth, England; two sons, William H. Sauer of Virginia Beach, and Russell E. Sauer of Greenville, Pa.; parents, Mary A. Sauer and Homer W. Sauer Sr.; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond E. Sauer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today by the Rev. Kenneth Hicks in Providence Presbyterian Church.
