ROGER W. DRAVIS

Roger Wayne Dravis, 53, of the 4200 block of Taylor Road, died Feb. 2, 1997, at his home.

A native of Mauston, Wis., he was a police officer at Western Tidewater Regional Jail. He retired from the U.S. Navy with 30 years service as a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm and a member of Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey E. Dravis; three daughters, Heather J. Dravis, Bonnie J. Dravis, both of Virginia Beach, Mona M. Evans of Norfolk; a son, William S. Dravis of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Donald J. Dravis of Minneapolis, Minn., Brian Dravis of Laporte, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Chaplain Benny Kingwood and the Rev. Barbara Luzi. Burial will be at sea. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace & Hope Mission of Norfolk.
