Helene P. Hubbard, born May 19, 1935, in Bronx, N.Y., died suddenly Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, at her residence at the age of 61.
She has been a resident of Corpus Christi for 23 years. She was a Eucharistic minister at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and a volunteer at the Museum of Science and Natural History.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Henry L. Hubbard of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Deidre Hubbard of Austin, Texas; two sons, Kevin Hubbard of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Patrick Hubbard of Arlington, Va.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Tom McGettrick at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church. A graveside service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington. Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
