The School Board deferred action on a minimum-grade requirement for students who participate in Virginia High School League-governed activities.
The board, which will consider the matter at its Feb. 18 meeting, did not act Tuesday night because not all of the data board members had requested were available.
The Virginia High School League oversees high school athletics, forensics, debate and other activities. Under consideration is a proposal of requiring a 2.0 or C-average semester grade to participate in those activities.
