SOPHIA L. PEGRAM-TURNER

Sophia L. Pegram-Turner of the 9500 block of Fourth Bay St. died Feb. 2, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.

A Norfolk native, she was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, Todd Turner of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Marian Pegram, Alethea Pegram, Keisha Pegram, all of Norfolk; half-brother, Shelton Vaughan of Norfolk; grandparents, John and Thelma Pegram; nephew, Keion Pegram; and a host of aunts and uncles, Thelma, Rosa, Darnell, Lloyd and Linda Pegram, Cecil Lofland; and cousins, Maurice and Ida Pacius.

A funeral will be conducted at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Wayne Gary. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, Chesapeake. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
