CHARLOTTE R. WILSON

Charlotte Ricketts Wilson, 79, of the 1000 block of Naval Ave. died Feb. 4, 1997, in Norfolk.

A Portsmouth native, she was predeceased by her parents, William A. and Mary Catherine Ricketts, and her husband, Edward E. Wilson.

Mrs. Wilson retired from the Portsmouth Public Schools as a secretary. She was also a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her sons, E. Craig Wilson and his wife, Kate, of Portsmouth, and E. Cabot Wilson of Norfolk; many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother, Emily R. McInnerney, Catherine R. Hall, Virginia R. Bunch, Margaret R. Mason and Grace R. Jenkins and Leon P. Ricketts.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Geoffrey M. Hahneman. The family will receive friends in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
